I saw this polish and immediately picked it up to buy. A beautiful blue jelly glitter? Duh. No brainer.

Sinful Colors Hottie is a gorgeous, light blue jelly with fine silver and blue glitter with larger blue hexagonal glitter. Above is three coats, but it looks about the same as two coats. It was surprisingly opaque. It doesn't get full coverage as recent glitters, but that's not how this polish is made. You get a beautiful blue jelly base to suspend the glitter. Spectacular. Love it.
I figured it would look good layered, so I picked some colors. I tried to get blues that leaned purple as it would pick up the tint in the polish better than a teal or green blue. I think I was right!

Above pictures are two coats base color and one coat Sinful Colors Hottie. In order, the colors are Wet 'N Wild Black Creme, Revlon Decadent, China Glaze Blue Year's Eve, and China Glaze Caribbean Blue.
I love how it looked on all the colors. The darker colors seem to bring out more of the glitter colors, but it complements lighter colors. The layering over black reminds of a lazy version of a galaxy nail. Haha.

Ahh, I want this now! Anything blue and glitter is such a win for me. Especially if it's something that can be layered over any other color. Love!

I had nail junkie and didn't think i needed hottie, but they're actually a bit different especially over black. i haven't used it for a full manicure yet, but it's beautiful! nice choice

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought to try doing the different layers, with the Hottie color. I should try that. I seem to like the 2 -3 layers so far with that awesome color!
