I have been watching some videos for how to do one stroke flowers on youtube and I thought I'd give it a try over my existing manicure (going on day 3 without chipping, yay!). I know this isn't perfect, but I really like how it turned out, so I wanted to share it with you! It's more ... impressionistic, but I thought I'd share it! I think my middle finger turned out best. I used white and black, and then added a little glitter (I'm so predictable) to the center. I've gotten a TON of compliments on this! Unfortunately, I only did my left hand. I still have to work on my right hand =)
I used Orly Pink Chocolate, Savvy French White, Sally Hansen Black Heart, and Sally Hansen Glitz Gal along with SV topcoat.
Hope you guys like! I'm thinking about investing in some acrylic paint since most nail art seems to be done with that and not nail polish...
nice

ReplyDeletelooks very pretty
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love it :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I love the flower!
ReplyDeleteThe touch of glitter makes it so special! I know how it is to have just one hand done... I have been there and it just requires practice :D
ReplyDeleteThese are really cute!! I like the glitter!(:
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! This acrylic is super cheap (like .50 each) and if you buy about 10 of the main colors then you can mix to create any shade you can think of. The only problem i have with using acrylic is that it doesn't blend and smooth out like real polish. It is nice though to be able to rinse it off with water if you make a mistake though and it is easier to work with being thinner and very opaque. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteI love this...especially from one corner of the nail!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! Where did you learn how to do that?
