Did you think I was talking about alcohol?
Alas, I'm talking about Bare Minerals Moonshine shadow. Love the shadow, hate the applicator. I dumped the powder into a small container like the other shadows usually come in and use a brush to apply it to prevent all the fall out that is inherent in the sponge tipped spring loaded applicator.
Both of the above pictures are the same makeup, but I just wanted to show the way the eye shadow changes from a soft metallic plum to a brighter metallic purple! It also shows that a little change in lighting goes a long way in making skin look more even and smooth. Even the lipstick looks different!
These shadows, while intensely pigmented, blend like a dream. I love the metallic, gilded look they have and it's right from the bottle, no need to mix with water or other solution.
I added this last one just because I liked the way my eye looked. Totally self serving and gratuitous.
