I've decided to interrupt your regularly scheduled programming for some GLITTER. I received these recently and I've been itching to test them out! I had been stalking my usual nail sites and it wasn't in, so I caved and bought it them on eBay. (I know, I know, smack my hand.) But I was super excited when I got this package. I had to sit on my hands to keep from clapping.

When I tried swatching this color awhile back, it was sprinkling outside so I decided to swatch a color that didn't need a lot of sun, so please ignore the droplets on the polish! Haha. I didn't spit on myself I swear. And my nails are still rounded, I'm cleaning out old pictures as I'm enjoying my manicures a few days at a time now. =)

China Glaze Swing Baby is from the Vintage Vixen Collection and is a fantastic light brown golden foil. It reflects beautifully and went on very smooth.

Quick Fix It for Sheet Marks + Haul!

So when I put on Essie Sand Tropaz (second time wearing, and no swatches, darn!) I tried a different topcoat than my usual Seche Vite. I let it dry for an hour (maybe longer, I swearz) which I thought it was long enough, and then went to bed. And this happened ...

Week 9: "Vintage" Mani

I'm back with Week 9 of the 52 Week Challenge. This week is "Vintage" mani. To be honest, I had to google this one too, because I wasn't sure what it meant. I also am not sure I did the right style, but I just kinda went with it! Hopefully I'm not too far off. Ahaha.

So I did this first one with Milani Totally Cool, and I used the hole reinforcement stickers for both the half moon and tips with Sally Hansen Celeb City. It was pretty messy, but I thought it looked cool. I snapped a quick pic in case my next attempt was worse, which it was!

I'm so thankful the weekend is here! It's been a rough week. I'm glad to have a little R&R and chill out at home. I have a vacation coming up soon and I'm counting down the days!

Anyhow, onto the polish! I had meant to show this lovely polish earlier, but I just got around to actually putting it on.  I was perusing the shelves of a local store and saw this, and loved it so much I grabbed two, one for me and one for a giveaway!

Milani Totally Cool is a gorgeous smokey sheer purple base with tons of magenta shimmer. In the shade it looks like a dark, vampy purple (not black appearing) but when the light hits it, it shines magenta! Gorgeous. I love it. Very unassuming with a wow factor.

And yes, I did round my nails. I thought I'd try it. I'm not sure if I like it. It makes my small nails look even smaller... But it's nice to mix things up a bit.
