Eternal Optimist

I've been picking through my neutral polishes and wearing a lot of pink lately. This one reminds me a lot of Revlon Cheers. I think this one is a little more light pink and less dusty. I'll have to do a comparison of them, because Revlon's formula was soooo much better. This one was thick and goopy and hard to get even. Three coats here plus topcoat. Not a fan, Essie.

Kinda meh overall. Color is nice but it chipped within the first day wearing it and the formula was hard to work with so not a huge fan of this one.

  1. How was the formula hard to work with? Just curious.

Runny? I bought a few new Essie polishes the other day and I noticed as much with some of them.

  3. This does look great on you. I am hot/cold on Essie - I find that for everyone I love there are 3 that have ick formulas...but I know the brand well enough to always try before I buy or at least read reviews on it. They can be ones that bald but on the 2nd coat fix that issue. I don't have this shade and kind of surprised I don't. I need a good neutral in the pinks but not ballet or baby pink looking at all. It reminds me of an old OPI fav of mine that is long ago discontinued Nantucket Mist - only this one is more neutral than NM was/is.
