Wet N Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner

I saw a post with these by EyeGraffiti and knew I had to get some.

I've had these for a little while and I'm really happy with them. I limited myself and just bought two - a black and a blue. Sound familiar? Same colors I purchased from Buxom gel liners. I don't know why I always pick a black and blue liner. I need to broaden my horizons and get some different colors next time! I didn't realize it at the time, but those two colors are the new releases. I was looking for a stock picture to use above and found vampyvarnish.com had the SAME colors. How weird right? Then I found out they were the new releases, so not so weird, and completely helpful since she had an awesome picture on her site.

Wet N Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner in Black Sparkle is a black base with fine silver glitter. It's not super opaque or dark, so from a distance, this appears more gunmetal gray than black. It's a nice alternative to your basic black if you're looking for definition without the starkness. You can see the silver glitter in bright light, so it's a little naughty to wear to work if you're feeling mischievous.

Wet N Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner in Indigo Blue is a medium blue with a touch of purple. Not very opaque and I had problems with application. I found if I let it dry and came back to it, I could get more color payoff and it wouldn't become patchy. Below is two coats.

I did some swatches on bare skin so you can see them for what they are on their own. The black would look more black with glitter than gray on eyes that can handle more eyeliner. You can see the trouble I had with the blue below. The color kept lifting when I'd go back over the same place.

I purchased mine from Walgreen's but you can buy these wherever Wet N Wild is sold. They retail for $2.99 for 0.12oz. These are available in a couple different colors, like green, purple, plain black, etc. but it depends on what your store carries as to what you find!

I have no looks to show you with them, but if you'd like to see an awesome one check out EyeGraffiti's post by Phlox.

  2. The black liner didn't completely work for me... The staying time was pretty short and it smudged after a while... Nice looks though :)
