Week 3: Color Block Mani

I have a confession to make. I had no idea what a Color Block Mani entailed, and I had to google it along with tutorials and images. I found a great one, that I used as inspiration. It took some dang good detective work, but finally found out it's from Chloe's Nails Patchwork Mani Tutorial. Mine didn't work out quite as well, but it was fun! I tend to lean toward purple polishes, so I tried to go outside the box and use greens!

I used Sally Hansen Limestone, Milani Hi-Tech, and Wet 'N Wild Black Creme with a little SV in between to speed up drying time. And scotch tape. And lots of patience. Lots.

I know my lines are a bit squirrel-y, but this was my third attempt. Just for ... grins, here are my other attempts. I had to take pictures in case they progressively became worse.

First attempt, same colors, different technique:

Second attempt, different colors, new technique: (Wet 'N Wild Black Creme, Milani Cyberspace, China Glaze Caribbean Blue)

Please don't forget to check out everyone else's nails to see their version of the challenge!

      2. Hehehehe, thanks ladies :D I am so excited about this challenge! No need to be sorry, I can't even imagine trying to keep up with evey nail blog the randomly decides to do the challenge. It would be cool if there were a sign in sheet on someone's blog for everyone to go to, but I don't know exactly how/if that would work. Y'all are awesome for keeping all the blogs together so we can see each others work. Kaki, I must say the more I look at your nails the more I like them! Dang girl!, those really are eye catching. I'm gonna have to do those and shoot you credit for the idea.
